Mixtape #2

Hi Followers!!

So here we are at week 2 of The Week In Sound Mixtapes. 12 new songs, 12 new artists. All very good songs and worth a listen of two. So instead of rambling on let's get into it and listen to some great music.

Bonnie 'Prince' Billy
Will Oldham, a.k.a. Bonnie 'Prince' Billy, is an American singer, songwriter, and actor.

The Boy Least Likely To are an English indie pop duo, composed of composer/multi-instrumentalist Pete Hobbs and lyricist/singer Jof Owen.

Gentleman Reg
Reg Vermue (born Trenton, Ontario), who records as Gentleman Reg, is a Canadian indie rock singer-songwriter. His folk-pop style has been commonly compared to Elliott Smith, Aimee Mann, Sufjan Stevens and The Smiths.

Great Lake Swimmers
Great Lake Swimmers is a Canadian band built around the melodic folk rock songs of singer-songwriter Tony Dekker. The band's style has been compared to Red House Painters, Nick Drake, Iron & Wine and Neil Young.

The Leisure Society
The Leisure Society is a band formed by Nick Hemming, formerly of early 1990s indie band She Talks To Angels.

Maupa

Modern Skirts is an alternative pop band based in Athens, GA.

The Phantom Band are scottish proto-robofolk band from Glasgow. Highly recommended!!!

Say Hi
Say Hi (formerly Say Hi to Your Mom) is a Seattle, Washington-based indie rock group run by Eric Elbogen.

Vetiver
Vetiver is an American folk band headed by songwriter Andy Cabic and often joined by Devendra Banhart, cellist Alissa Anderson, and violinist Jim Gaylord.

The Whitest Boy Alive
The Whitest Boy Alive is a musical group based in Berlin. The band comprises singer/guitarist Erlend Øye, who is also a member of the band Kings of Convenience, bassist Marcin Öz, drummer Sebastian Maschat, and Daniel Nentwig on Rhodes piano and Crumar. EXCELLENT!!!

William Elliott Whitmore
Hailing from a horse farm along the banks of the mighty Mississippi River, William Elliott Whitmore has developed an intense love and spiritual understanding of the land, which he flawlessly conveys through all of his records.
